Improvement targets amply achieved
Now that the productivity project in our organisation is almost finished, I would like to let you know that I am very satisfied with what has been achieved here.
Our organisation, with its multitude of completely different activities and its social objectives that ‘differ from the normal business’, has proven to be no obstacle to realising significant improvements, both in economic terms and in the mentality of most employees.
I have great respect for the way Mark Van Rompaey operated within our companies. At all levels of the organisation, he worked with us in a particularly pleasant, effective and cooperative manner, and opened many eyes.
At the end of the project, in which the improvements set at the start were amply achieved, our task is now to continue and build on the results. Although this will not be easy, I have full confidence that we will succeed with our two coordinators, who were trained during the project.
