€ 2,4 miljoen besparing (20% op loonkosten) · borging via audits
The Cordeel Group acquired the company Imtech Belgium in 2015, which had around 800 employees. Following a successful project at the Cordeel Temse production sites, Vocum was commissioned to start an analysis at Imtech's Building Services department.
During the analysis, it was established that a potential saving of 20% was possible on the direct and indirect labour costs, which corresponds to €2.4 million on an annual basis.

Some of the things Vocum helped us with to work more productively are:
- Standards were drawn up for all maintenance activities. This enables the planner to assign the right amount of work to a technician.
- A management system was developed so that problems and deviations from the target are noticed in good time. This means action can be taken at the right moment and at the right level.
- An operational report ensures that planning and follow-up are aimed at productivity, putting continuous improvement at the heart of a daily cycle.
- The technicians are now scheduled to 75% one week in advance (+25% for breakdown work) so that they certainly have enough work. It also becomes clear whether there are too many or too few people, taking into account the contractually agreed maintenance tasks.
- Personal coaching of the various supervisors by Vocum, both in the classroom and on the job, ensured continuous focus and support in reaching our goal.
- All maintenance tasks were clustered so that we can schedule our technicians efficiently. This avoids technicians needlessly travelling to the same location on different days.
After completing the project, Vocum set up audits together with one of our employees. This way of working allows us to safeguard the system and take further steps in the future. All of this led to the intended savings being achieved.
