We are now at the end of our Vocum programme. Our decision to start this programme stemmed from the realisation that, in order to remain competitive as a market leader, we needed to do the following: reduce labour costs and increase productivity.
To make these changes understandable to all levels of our management in a relatively short time, we contacted Vocum for support.
Vocum created awareness and the need for a management system and provided us with a procedure for setting goals systematically. This allowed us to apply the corporate goals across the entire organisation, with specific and realistic expectations for each management level.
A management reporting and control system was developed and installed at the various management levels. This enables management to monitor performance, set priorities and take action on a factual basis.
We are pleased to say that Vocum has so far achieved the intended savings, and we are confident that the coordinator trained by Vocum will continue to work with the management groups on the foundations our company has laid.
