Job description
You work in a project team led by a project director. In practice this means full-time deployment at our clients.
During the development phase we define an improved way of working together. You help analyse the processes, the organisational structure, the management system and leadership behaviour, and change them where needed.
You implement those changes hand-in-hand with the client, with a "hands-on" attitude — generating the targeted improvements on the basis of the Vocum methodology.
We train you "on the job". Depending on your profile, your experience and how quickly you master our approach, you are given the appropriate responsibilities early on.
We are currently recruiting staff for both Belgium and the Netherlands.
Selection criteria
We select on a number of qualities:
- DegreeUniversity or equivalent — preferably commercial engineer, Applied Economics, Industrial Engineer or Civil Engineer. Experience is not required: we provide the full training ourselves.
- Results-drivenWe deliver measurable, lasting improvements to our clients. That takes energy, perseverance and common sense.
- Personal skillsA team player, both within the Vocum team and towards the client. That calls for excellent communication: you can "sell" ideas convincingly and with solid arguments.
- Analytical abilityStrong analytical insight to optimise processes, systems and organisational structures. We look for critical minds: important improvements often start by questioning existing, seemingly logical ways of working. Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required.
